💰 Pricing & Billing
How much does it cost?
₹2,50,000 + 18% GST one-time for the platform build (native Android app, native iOS app, admin panel, branding, migration, training). Then a monthly maintenance plan: Care ₹4,999, Care+ ₹9,999, or Enterprise (custom). The platform build is paid 50% advance, 50% on delivery.
Why no free trial?
Every community is custom-built — there's nothing generic to "try". Instead, we offer a free 20-minute discovery call where we walk you through a live demo with sample data, answer every question, and send you a written quote within 24 hours. No commitment.
Are there annual discounts?
Yes — pay 12 months upfront on Care or Care+ for a 15% discount. Enterprise plans get custom annual pricing.
Do you accept international payments?
Yes. Indian customers pay in INR via UPI, NEFT, or RTGS. International customers (US, UK, Canada, etc.) can pay via Wise, PayPal, or international wire transfer in USD/GBP/EUR.
What happens if my community grows beyond plan limits?
We notify you a month in advance. Most communities upgrade from Care to Care+ around 500 members; Enterprise becomes worthwhile at 5,000+ members or multi-chapter operations.
🛠️ Setup & Onboarding
How long does setup take?
1 week total for most communities. Day 1: discovery and same-day plan. Days 2-3: build & brand. Days 4-5: data migration & admin training. Days 6-7: launch on Play Store + App Store (Apple review may add 24-48 hours). For Enterprise (federations, very large gam with custom features), 2-3 weeks.
What do I need to provide?
Just three things: (1) your existing member list (Excel, Word, paper photos, even WhatsApp exports — we handle conversion), (2) your community's logo (or we can design one for ₹15,000), and (3) availability for 4-5 short calls during the build.
Can you migrate our existing list?
Yes — and it's free up to 5,000 records. We accept any format: Excel, CSV, Word, Google Sheets, scanned booklet pages (we OCR them), or WhatsApp group exports. Our team validates and de-duplicates everything before going live.
How many admins can we have?
Unlimited admins on every plan, with role-based permissions: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Event Coordinator, Membership Lead, Read-Only — or any custom role you design.
📱 Features & Apps
Will the app be in our community's name?
Yes. Apps are published to Google Play Store and Apple App Store under your community's name (e.g., "Karamsad Patel Samaj"), with your logo and colors. Members search the store for your community name and download.
Does it work in Gujarati?
Yes — full bilingual support out of the box. Members and admins toggle between English and ગુજરાતી anytime. Even Gujarati search works (typing in either script finds names in either).
Can members update their own info?
Yes. Members log in to their app, update their phone, address, photo, family details. Admins approve changes (or auto-approve trusted members). This is the single biggest time-saver for samaj secretaries.
Does it work offline?
The mobile app caches the directory locally. Members can search and view contacts without an internet connection. Updates sync when back online.
Can we add custom features?
Yes. Custom features start at ₹50,000 each, depending on complexity. We've built things like: matrimonial profiles, business directories, donation tracking, event ticketing, family tree visualisation. Quoted upfront.
🔒 Security & Privacy
Is my community's data safe?
Yes. AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, daily encrypted backups stored in two regions (India + EU). Strict access controls. SOC 2-aligned operational practices. We've never had a security incident.
Where is the data stored?
Primary: AWS Mumbai (Indian data residency). Backup: AWS Frankfurt (EU). For US/Canada-based communities, we offer AWS US-East at the same cost. You choose during setup.
Are you GDPR / DPDP compliant?
Yes. Full compliance with EU GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Data subject rights (access, rectification, deletion, export) all built in.
Do you sell or share data?
Never. Your data is never sold, shared, used for marketing, or accessed without your community admin's consent. We sign DPAs (Data Processing Agreements) with every customer.
What about member privacy?
Each member controls what's visible to others (phone, address, etc.). Admins can set community-wide defaults. Children's data has special protection. Members can request deletion anytime.
🚪 Cancellation & Data Ownership
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel maintenance with 30 days notice. The apps stay live during the notice period. We provide a full data export within 7 days of cancellation.
Will my apps stop working if I cancel?
You'll have 30 days to migrate. After that, we de-list the apps from stores and shut down the cloud backend. We'll provide source code at fair commercial terms if you want to self-host or migrate to another provider.
Do I own my data?
Always. We're the processor; you're the controller. Your data is exportable in standard formats (Excel, JSON) anytime, even mid-contract.
🌍 Global Use
Does it work outside India?
Yes — communities in the USA, UK, Canada, Kenya, South Africa, Australia, UAE, and Singapore actively use the platform. We handle multi-currency invoicing and international time-zone support.
Can a federation manage multiple chapters?
Yes — the Enterprise plan supports federation/multi-chapter setups. Central federation admin sees all chapters; each chapter has its own admin team, but member data flows up.
What about the diaspora reconnecting with home villages?
This is exactly what the Gam Directory feature does. Diaspora members register through the app, get auto-linked to families in the village. Many of our most emotional success stories come from this.

What if something breaks after launch?
Email info@sensussoft.com or WhatsApp +91 95581 89523 — we triage within hours. Care plan: 24h email response. Care+: WhatsApp + email, response within 4 hours during work hours. Enterprise: 24/7 priority support with SLA. Critical bugs (app down) get fixed within hours regardless of plan.
Do you offer training for new admins?
Yes. The platform build includes 3 admin training sessions. Additional sessions are ₹5,000 each. We also have a video library + bilingual admin handbook.
Can I talk to existing customers?
Yes — with their permission, we'll connect you with 2-3 community leaders similar to your size and structure. Reference calls usually happen during week 1 if you want them.
